Overview


Savannah Boyd is an Atlanta-based influencer, business owner, and image consultant. Her brand, Hearts of Style, is committed to sharing authentically about the reality of balancing a full-time career, marriage, and motherhood. It is a vulnerable and powerful testament to faith and perseverance in the journey and unsurprisingly Savannah’s story has attracted a dedicated and fiercely loyal following.

After 12 years of continuous growth, Hearts of Style has outgrown its current branding and is in need of a full brand refresh from the inside out. The two major problems that we aimed to solve were:

  1. The absence of a clear visual language is distracting and creates an experience of dissonance that stems from structural incohesion.

  2. The lack of storytelling- despite the incredible narrative Savannah brings to her content, Hearts of Style fails to deliver a structured brand story. As a result, HOS fails to communicate effectively and misses out on key audiences.

I / Brand Strategy

  • To create robust & meaningful brand storytelling reflective of Savannah’s extraordinary journey and her commitment to sharing that with others. To read a story is to feel an experience and to synchronize our minds with the subject of the story. In the process, a speaker and a listener share a story that allows their brands to interact in a dynamic way. Most importantly, stories build trust.

  • To define a clear visual language reflective of Savannah, while elevating the business infrastructure and standardizing processes.

II / Execution

Through in-depth Founder interviews, articulation of the Brand Heart & detailed storyboarding, we captured Savannah’s narrative and translated it into a powerful and compelling brand story that extends beyond a personal brand and opens the door to creating a business model at scale.

We created a a set of clear visual guidelines for the brand to streamline execution as well as to reinforce both identity and image of the brand. The visual guidelines extend to all the key visual touch points of Hearts of Style- their purpose of is to ensure consistency by providing a framework that is easily applicable to a variety of different use cases.
